1861 sketch of army camp at Las Moras Springs, Fort Clark, Texas
 
This 1861 sketch of Las Moras Springs depicts the military camp of another former enemy of the Seminoles, General David Twiggs. Twiggs' men are depicted in the course of their defection from the Union to the Confederate forces in 1861. The sketch by soldier Carl G. Iwonski was first published in Harpers's Weekly.
